NOTICE
• Please take note of the following instructions:
 3 Product description on page EN-8
• The system may only be installed and put into operation by qualified
personnel (in Germany see TRBS 1203).
Select the wire type and suitable wire guide for your application.
1 Lay the cable assembly out straight then push the cut-to-length wire guide
(liner or PA liner) through the torch neck from the central connector.
2 Tighten the nut using the switch key wrench.
3 Cut off the liner flush with the torch neck.
4 Make sure that the cutting edge is free of burrs.
For ROBO 241D and 455D, start by screwing in the replaceable tip.
1 Screw the spatter protector into the torch neck.
2 Screw the contact tip into the tip adaptor and tighten using a switch key
wrench.
3 Slide the gas nozzle onto the torch neck, rotating it slightly clockwise.
1 Check that the wire guide is correctly attached.
2 Join the central connector and central socket at the wire feeder and secure
them with the connection nut.
WARNING
Risk of burns
The ROBO welding torch cable assembly overheats if the coolant level is too
low.
• Wear protective gloves.
• Check the coolant level at regular intervals.
