The WestfireUNIQ37 woodburning stoveis lined with heat deflectionpanels and baffles, these panels are designed
to ensure the maximum efficiency and are anintegral part of the clean burnprocessof the stove. Thesebaffles
should not be removed apart from for cleaning the stove. Any defective panels should be replaced.
Connection tochimney
WestfireUNIQ37 wood stovehas bothrear and top flue connectorthat allows connectionto either a masonry
chimney ora prefabricated factory madeinsulated metal chimney in accordancewith the instructionsfor
"Connectionto chimney" given in the instructionbooklet.
Commissioning and handover
Ensureloose partsare fitted in accordancewith the instructions, page16. 'Vermiculite fire brickinstallation
sequence' before handover.Operation of primary and secondary air controlsliders must be fully explained.
Oncompletion of the installation allow a suitable period of time forany fire cement and mortarto dry out, when
a small fire may belit and checked to ensure the smokeand fumes are taken from the stoveup the chimney and
emitted safely to atmosphere.Donot runat full output for at least 24 hours.
Oncompletion of the installation and commissioning ensure that the operating instructionsforthe stoveare left
with the customer.Ensureto advise the customeronthe correct use of the appliancewith the fuels likely to be
used onthe stoveand warnthem to use only the recommendedfuels forthe stove.
Advise the user what to doshould smokeorfumes beemitted from the stove. Thecustomershould bewarned to
use a fireguardto BSEN8423:2002 in the presenceof children, aged and/or infirm persons.
