cleanat all times.
IMPORTANT NOTES
General
Before lighting the stove checkwith the installer that the installation work and commissioning checks described in
the installation instructionshave beencarried out correctly and that the chimney has beenswept clean, is soundand
free fromany obstructions.Aspart of the stoves' commissioning and handoverthe installer should have shownyou
how to operatethe stove correctly.
Useoffireguard
Whenusing the stovein situations where children, aged and/or infirm personsare present a fireguard must
be used to prevent accidental contact with the stove. Thefireguard should be manufacturedin accordancewith
BSEN8423: 2002.
Chimneycleaning
Thechimney should beswept at least oncea year forsmokeless fuels and a minimum of twice a year forwoodand
otherfuels. It is important that the flue connectionand chimney are swept priorto lighting up after a prolonged
shutdownperiod.
If the stoveis fitted in placeof an openfire then the chimney should beswept onemonth after installation to clear
any soot falls which may have occurreddueto the difference in combustionbetween the stoveand the open fire.
In situations where it is not possibleto sweep throughthe stovethe installer will have providedalternative means,
suchas a soot door.After sweeping the chimney the stoveflue outlet and the flue pipe connecting the stoveto the
chimney must be cleaned with a flue brush.
HETAS Ltd Approval
Thisappliancehas obtained HETASLtdapprovalona safe and fit forpurposelevel (single tick approval) forburning
wood logsonly as detailed in list of recommended fuels. Approvaldoes not coverthe use of otherfuels eitheralone
ormixed, nordoesit coverinstructions for the use of otherfuels.
GUARANTEE
Yournew stoveis covered by a five year guaranteeagainst manufacturing defects. Yourreceipt documentsthe date
of purchase.Theguaranteedoesnot cover damage caused by faulty operation suchas overheating orthe stove
being incorrectly connected,or damage which occursas a result of external physical force.
Theguaranteedoesnot coverdamageto replaceableparts, transport costs associated with repairs underwarranty
orthe installation/dismantling of the stovein connectionwith repairs underwarranty.
Warning!Any unauthorised modification of the applianceis forbidden.
