6.8.6.4 Transferring the project to the unit
GB
A project can completely be transferred to the
memory of the DSM-480LAN. The previous
memory contents are overwritten. For free posi-
tions of the project list "-----" the contents of the
corresponding memory location in the unit
remain unchanged. Thus, it is possible to com-
plete or exchange only some configurations in
the unit.
To transfer the present project to the memory of
the DSM-480LAN:
1) In the window "Store Project" (
the button "Store Project to Device".
2) In the dialog window which opens "Store cur-
rent project to device, are you sure?" confirm
or cancel the procedure.
After successful transfer the message
"Project stored on the device" appears.

After loading, "Device project" can be found
under "Project Name" as a source of the project
loaded. The project can now e. g. be saved
on the computer (
chapter 6.8.6.2) or, as
described under "Compiling project" (
ter 6.8.6.1), be completed with memorized con-
figurations and then retransferred to the unit
(
chapter 6.8.6.4).
6.8.6.6 Project administration with memory card
The preceding chapters describe the storage
and loading of a project from the memory of the
unit to the PC. It is possible to administrate proj-
ects from the PC to the memory card in the same
way via the button "Store Project to Memory-
Card".
For the storage of configurations from a
memory card as a project, an individual folder
"CardProject" is created on the PC. However,
also other memory locations can be selected.
