1 Operating Elements
and Connections
1.1 Front side
1 LC display
2 Rotary knob PM1/ ENTER to select the menu
items, to select the parameters and to
change values;
press the knob to call a selected submenu
and to confirm an input.
3 Slot to accept the memory chip card

4 Rotary knob PM2 / ESC to change adjust-
ments, depending on the selected submenu
item;
press the knob to cancel an input and to exit
a submenu.
5 Rotary knob PM3 / UTILITY to change adjust-
ments, depending on the selected submenu

press the button to call the menu for general
system adjustments
6 Button EDIT/ MUTE for the selection or dese-
lection of an input or output to change its
adjustments or to mute it

The input or output is muted or the sound is
reactivated [the LED (7) shows red during

The input or output is selected or deselected
[the LED (7) shows blue when the input or
output is selected]
To make adjustments for several outputs
together, further outputs can be selected in
addition to an output already selected. It is
possible to deselect these outputs individu-
ally. The deselection of the first output
selected results in the deselection of all out-
puts. The adjustment of several inputs can be
linked in the same way. Then only the param-
eters changed during linking are adapted. All
individual adjustments of the inputs and out-
puts are maintained.
7 Status LED EDIT/ MUTE, each for the inputs
A to D and for the outputs 1 to 8, shows that
the input or output has been selected to
change its adjustments (shows blue) or / and
indicates muting of the input or output (shows
red)
8 LED chain, respectively for all inputs, to indi-
cate the input signal level;
if the LED CLIP lights up, the input is over-
loaded, in this case attenuate the output level
of the signal source accordingly
9 LED chain, respectively for the outputs 1 to 8,
to show the signal level or the attenuation of
the dynamic range, depending on the adjust-
ment "Vu-Meter Mode" of the output
LIMIT
lights up when the limiter or the compressor
