5. Operating instructions
The Mini Dry Bath Incubator is a pre-installed instrument and is ready for use.
1. Locate the unit on a sturdy, level surface in a safe, dry place away from laboratory traffic.
2. Ensure that the power switch (8) is OFF, then attach the power cord into socket (9) at the rear of
the unit and plug into a grounded AC outlet of appropriate voltage.
3. Insert an aluminium block or the appropriate water volume in the unit.
Note: Do not use the lid in water bath mode!
4. Turn the Power Switch (8) to ON.
5. Perform a temperature calibration procedure when using the instrument for the first time (see 6).
6. Press the UP (1) or DOWN (2) button to set the desired temperature.
7. To set the timer for the heating process, press MODE (4) button, and then press UP (1) or DOWN
(2) button to adjust to required time. The unit will stop heating and an alarm will sound when
time is up.
8. Press the RUN/STOP (3) button to start heating.
