1. WARNING!
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for the CE regulation. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in
a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy, and if
not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference, in
which case, the user will be required to correct the interference at their expense. Changes or modifi cations
not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate
the equipment. It is strongly recommended that only those who have read this manual operates the unit.
Please read and follow the instructions in this manual:
1. Do not make any alterations to the unit as these could result in personal and/or laboratory hazards,
as well as invalidating the warranty.
2. Use a properly grounded electrical outlet with the correct voltage and current.
3. Disconnect from the power supply before maintenance and servicing. Servicing and maintenance
should be performed only by qualified personnel.
4. Never use the unit without the safety cover on the bottom of the unit correctly in position.
5. Do not use the unit if there is any sign of damage, and replace any damaged parts before use.
6. Do not use in the presence of flammable or combustible material as fire or explosion may result as
the unit contains components which may ignite such materials.
7. Use appropriate materials and operate correctly to avoid possible hazards of explosion, implosion
or release of toxic or flammable gases arising from overheated materials.
8. Do not use the lid when using the unit in water bath mode.
9. Always use the supplied block lifter to remove hot blocks, and wear appropriate protection to avoid
burning your hands.
