7. Unit completion
7.1 Installation of the heat flow meter
The heat flow meter must only be installed once the entire heating
system has been flushed through. LogoPack units are fitted with an
adaptor (L = 110 mm x 3/4") for a heat flow meter that must be
removed before the heat flow meter is installed.
Procedure:
• Close all shut-off valves "A" in the unit.
• Lower the system pressure by opening the bleeding devices "B".
• Release the screw fittings on adaptor "C".
• WARNING: Water may leak from the system. (The unit can be
drained using the fill and drain ball valves provided.)
• Remove the adaptor and insert the heat flow meter and screw
into place. NOTE: Bear in mind the direction of flow.
Do not forget the seals.
• Remove the 1/2" plug "D" on the flow distributor and screw in
and seal the flow line sensor of the heat flow meter.
• Once the work is complete, re-open the shut-off valves and use
the bleeding devices to bleed the unit.
Perform a leak-tightness check.
7.2 Hot water throttle
LogoPack units are fitted with a hot water throttle "G" in the
PF controller connection piece.
The model with gasket simplifies the exchange process.
The following throttle plates can be used as required:
10 l/min: Colour code - blue
12 l/min: Colour code - red
15 l/min: Colour code - green
17 l/min: Colour code - brown
