This appliance corresponds to the directive for elec-
tromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC and the low
voltage directive 73/23/EEC.

Das Gerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher Netzspan-
nung (230 V~) versorgt. Nehmen Sie deshalb nie-
mals selbst Eingriffe im Gerät vor. Durch unsach-
gemäßes Vorgehen besteht die Gefahr eines
elektrischen Schlages. Außerdem erlischt beim

Öffnen des Gerätes jeglicher Garantieanspruch.
Beachten Sie für den Betrieb auch unbedingt die fol-
genden Punkte:
•
Vorsicht! Bei geöffneter CD-Schublade nicht in
den CD-Schacht blicken. Eventuell austretende
Laserstrahlen können zu Augenschäden führen.
•
Das Gerät ist nur zur Verwendung in Räumen ge-
eignet.
•
Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur bei Temperaturen zwi-
schen 5°C und 35°C.
•
Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Vibrationen, Feuchtig-
keit, Staub und direktem Sonnenlicht.
•
Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von
Brummquellen wie z. B. Transformatoren oder Mo-
toren.
•
Das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen und sofort den
Netzstecker ziehen, wenn:
1. sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder an der Netz-
anschlußleitung vorhanden sind,
2. nach einem Sturz oder ähnlichem der Verdacht
auf einen Defekt besteht,
3. Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Das Gerät in jedem Fall zur Reparatur in eine
Fachwerkstatt geben.
•
Eine beschädigte Netzanschlußleitung darf nur
durch den Hersteller oder eine autorisierte Fach-
werkstatt ersetzt werden.
•
Den Netzstecker nie an der Zuleitung aus der
Steckdose ziehen.
•
Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, falsch bedient
oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann für eventu-
elle Schäden keine Haftung übernommen werden.
•
Für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes Staubtuch ver-
wenden, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien oder Wasser.

For the operation also watch in any case the follow-
ing items:
•
Caution! Do not look into the CD mechanism
when the CD drawer is open. Laser beams could
be emitted resulting in eye damage.
•
The unit is only suitable for indoor use.
•
Only operate the CD player with temperatures be-
tween 5°C and 35°C.
•
Protect the CD player from vibrations, humidity,
dust, and direct sun radiation.
•
Do not operate the CD player near hum sources
like e. g. transformers or motors.
•
Do not set the unit into operation and immediately
take the mains plug out of the mains socket if:
1. damage at the unit or mains cable can be seen.
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or
similar accident.
3. there are malfunctions.
The unit must in any case be repaired by author-
ized skilled personnel.
•
A damaged mains cable must only be repaired by
the manufacturer or authorized skilled personnel.
•
Never pull the mains plug out of the mains socket
by means of the mains cable.
•
If the unit is used for purposes other than originally

repaired by authorized skilled personnel, there is
no liability for possible damage.

4 SKIP-Tasten zum Anwählen einzelner Titel.
Mit jedem Betätigen der Taste
weitergesprungen.
Beim Drücken der Taste
des gerade laufenden Titels gesprungen. Zum
Anwählen des davorliegenden Titels muß die
Taste
zweimal betätigt werden. Durch mehr-
faches Drücken der Taste
Titel weiter zurückgesprungen.
5 Programmiertaste zum Zusammenstellen einer
beliebigen Titelfolge (siehe Kapitel 6 „Eigene
Titelfolge zusammenstellen").
Bei laufender oder in Pause stehender CD kann
mit dieser Taste die Anzahl der Titel und die
gesamte Spieldauer der CD angezeigt werden.
Nach einigen Sekunden springt das Display auf
die vorherige Anzeige zurück.
Wird die Taste PROGRAM länger als 2 Sekunden
gedrückt, schaltet das Laufwerk auf Stop. Das

(Wiedergabe) bzw.
6 PITCH-Taste zum Aktivieren der mit dem Regler
(16) eingestellten Geschwindigkeit. Für die Stan-
dardgeschwindigkeit darf die Taste nicht gedrückt
werden.
7 PITCH-LED leuchtet, wenn die PITCH-Taste (6)
gedrückt wurde und die Geschwindigkeit mit dem
Regler (16) eingestellt werden kann.
8 Taste CONT./SINGLE zum Umschalten zwischen
kontinuierlicher und Einzeltitelwiedergabe. Wird
die Taste gedrückt, zeigt das Display „PLAY 1", und
nach dem Ende des gerade laufenden Titels schal-
tet das Gerät auf Pause. Durch Drücken der Taste
PLAY
(11) kann der Titel wiederholt abgespielt
oder mit den SKIP-Tasten (4) ein anderer Titel an-
gewählt und mit der Taste

is pushed, the CD
player advances to the next title.
By pushing the button
, the CD player goes
back to the beginning of the actual title. To select
the previous title, the button
twice. By pushing the button
the CD player always goes more and more one
title further back.
5 Program button to compile a desired title se-
quence (see chapter 6 "Compiling of your own
title sequence").
With a CD playing or in the pause mode with this
button the number of titles and the total playing
time of the CD can be displayed. After some se-
conds the previous display is shown again.
If the button PROGRAM is pushed for more than
2 seconds, the playing mechanism is set to stop.
