4.3 To adjust the splitting knife
Warning! Stop the product, pull out the power plug
and make sure that the blade is fully stopped before you
make any adjustments.

Set the angle adjustment knob for the saw blade to 0º
and lock the position.

Loosen the knob on the blade guard. (Figure 6)

Remove the blade guard (5) from the splitting knife
(3). (Figure 7)

Remove the screw from the saw table insert. (Figure
8)

Lift one side of the saw table insert. (Figure 9)

Remove the saw table insert. (Figure 10)

Loosen the screw (A) on the splitting knife and adjust
the position of the splitting knife.

Adjust the distance to 10 cm (B) between the saw
table and the top of the splitting knife for maximum
thickness. Make sure that the distance (C) between
the blade and the splitting knife is 3–5 mm. (Figure 11)

Tighten the screw (A) on the splitting knife and install
the saw table insert.

Install the blade guard. Refer to "3.1 To install and
remove the blade guard. " on page 31
4.4 To cut lengthwise
Warning! Do not stand in the direction of the saw
blade when you saw lengtwise.

Adjust the parallel fence so it fits the thickness of the
wood.

Put the wood with the flat side against the saw table.

Push 1 edge of the wood against the parallel fence.

Push the start button (G) to start the product. (Figure
12)

Slide the wood towards the saw blade. Make sure you
slide the wood along the pararell fence.

Warning! Keep your fingers together and your hand
flat on the wood.
Warning! Remove your hand from the wood before
the hand reaches the blade guard.

Slide the wood through the splitting knife.
Warning! Do not remove the wood that is cut off until
the saw blade has fully stopped and it is put in standby
mode.
Note: Use roller supports to support long pieces of wood.
4.5 To cut narrow pieces of wood
Use the feeder to saw wood that is more narrow than 120
mm. (Figure 13)
Caution! A worn or damaged feeder must always be
replaced.
4.6 To bevel cut

Turn the adjustment wheel to adjust the hight of the
saw blade. (Figure 14)

Adjust the parallel fence.
3
Cut the wood to the desired width.
4.7 To crosscut the wood

Put the lateral fence in one of the groves in the saw
table and adjust the angle of the lateral fence.

Unlock the angle adjustment knob. (Figure 15)

Move the knob to adjust the angle of the saw blade.

Turn the angle adjustment knob to lock the position.
Note: Use the groove to make sure that hands and the
lateral fence does not touch the blade guard.

Put the wood on the saw table and push it against
the lateral fence.
6
Press the start button to start the product.
