Slide the lateral fence and the wood against the blade
to make a cut. Make sure that the wood is fully cut off
before you let go of the parallel fence.
Warning! Do not hold your hand on the side of the
wood that is to be cut off.

Press the stop button (F). Make sure that the saw
blade has fully stopped before you remove the wood
that is cut off. (Figure 12)

Maintenance

5.1 To clean the product

Warning! Always remove the power plug from
the power outlet and make sure that the saw blade has
fully stopped before you clean or do maintenance on the
product.
● Clean the product regulary. Use a damp cloth with water
and a mild detergent.
Warning! Do not let water get into the product. Risk
of electric shock.
Caution! Strong detergents or solvents can cause
damage to the plastic parts of the product.
● Make sure that the safety devices, ventilation openings
and the motor housing are not dirty or blocked.
● Use a clean cloth, or compressed air at low pressure, to
clean the safety devices, ventilation openings and the
motor housing.
5.1.1 To clean the carbon brush
Always let an authorized electrician do an inspection of the
carbon brush if there is heavy sparks.

5.2 To replace the saw table insert

Warning! Do not operate the product if the saw table
insert is worn or damaged. Risk of injury.

Remove the blade guard. Refer to "3.1 To install and
remove the blade guard. " on page 31.

Remove the countersunk screws.

Remove the saw table insert.

Install a new saw table insert in the opposite
sequence.

5.3 To replace the saw blade

Warning! Always remove the power plug from
the power outlet and make sure that the saw blade has
fully stopped before you clean or do maintenance on the
product.

Remove the saw table insert. Refer to "5.2 To replace
the saw table insert" on page 33.

Hold the 10 mm open-ended spanner (A) on the
motor shaft. (Figure 16)

Loosen the nut with a 24 mm spanner (B). Make sure
to turn the nut in the same direction as the rotation of
the saw blade.

Remove the screw (A), the nut (B) and the washer (C).
(Figure 16)

Remove the outer saw blade flange and tilt the saw
blade to remove it from the inner saw blade flange.

Clean the saw blade flanges carefully.

Install a new saw blade in the opposite sequence.
Note: Make sure that the cutting edge on the teeth of the
saw blade points forward in the direction of the rotation.

Install and adjust the splitting knife. Refer to "4.3 To
adjust the splitting knife" on page 32.

Install and adjust the blade guard. Refer to "3.1 To
install and remove the blade guard. " on page 31.

Disposal

6.1 To discard the product

Make sure that you follow local regulations when you
discard the product. Do not burn the product.
