6.1. Protect the pressure control regulator from damage (check visually at regular
intervals).
6.2. The pre-set adjustment of the safety valve (8) must not be changed.
6.3. Ensure that gaskets, sealing surfaces and gauges are in good condition and
free from marks.
6.4. If malfunction of the regulator (such as increasing outlet pressure at con-
sumption= 0, leaking, defective gauges or responding safety valve) is suspected
put the pressure control regulator out of operation and close the cylinder valve
(1) immediately.
Do not under any circumstances undertake, or allow any repairs by unauthor-
ised personnel.
7. REPAIRS
7.1. Repairs of Cylinder Pressure Regulators shall be carried out by competent per-
sonnel at an authorised Service or Repair Workshop. Only genuine spares may
be used.
7.2. Repairs or modifi cations carried out by the user or a non-authorised third par-
ty will entail loss of liability.
8. CYLINDER PRESSURE REGULATORS WITH FLOWMETER
GAUGE:
Paragraphs 1 to 7 of these Operating Instructions applies also to Cylinder Pressure
Regulators with Flow gauge. The fl ow set by the Pressure adjusting knob (5) may
be read at the Flowmeter gauge (4). Cylinder Pressure Regulator with fl ow gauge
have an integrated throttle. If the apparatus or equipment to be used downstream
also has a Flowmeter device, please remove it as it will not be calibrated with the
Cylinder Pressure Regulator.
9. WASTE MANAGEMENT
In accordance to Article 33 of REACH responsible manufacturer shall inform all
customers if materials containing 0.1% or more of substances included in the list of
Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC).
The most commonly used brass alloys used for bodies and other brass compo-
nents contain 2-3% of lead (Pb). After end of life the product shall be scrapped by
an authorized metal recycler to ensure effi cient material handling with minimal
impact to environment and health.
10. WARRANTY
The Standard Warranty period is two years from date of receipt by the Customer
(or if this is not known 2 years from time of the product manufacture shown on the
product). The standard warranty is only valid for products handled according to
Instruction for use (IFU) and general industry good practice and standards.
