Working with the wheel alignment system

Turn the unit on at the main switch and the individual devices as
well through their separate mains switches. The installation
instructions for the PC 1 689 978 445N describe the initialization
of the operating system. The PC now boots up. Put the CD with
the wheel alignment program into the CD drive. Call up the
installation routine with „D:\setup.exe" under „Start/Run".
You are now asked to choose your language.
The following language selection is only necessary for the
following installation!

Make your selection and confirm it with „OK".
The program files are installed.

The program prepares for access to the database to be installed.

The PC is now rebooted and then it asks you once again to select
a language.

The „Welcome" screen appears once you have selected the
language. Press the „Continue" button. The files are installed on
your PC. This process can take several minutes.
! If the error message „Wheel Alignement System Running" is
indicated, then
C:\Programme\Alignement\ die Datei exist.ini.

Once installation has been completed, the system is configured
and you are asked to end the process by pressing the „Finished"
button.

The system must be rebooted before the wheel alignment
program can be used. After rebooting, the program is loaded
automatically.

You must make the following settings without fail before
putting the wheel alignment system into operation!
Sensor type „Old Sensor" is set as the default setting of the wheel
alignment program in the installation routine.
If the „Sensor type" has not been sent to the relevant type of
sensor being used, the data is not transferred to the program.
Sensor type „Old Sensor" is required for WA 900 and sensor type
„ Radio Device" for WA 920.
