If the registration process proved unsuccessful, the message
ERROR appears briefly in the display.
Deregistering the emergency call unit on the telephone
It is only possible to deregister all the emergency call units in the
process! Any emergency call units which are subsequently requi-
red must be registered on the telephone again!

Emergency call unit battery
Checking the battery
1. Press the SOS button Z on the emergency call unit briefly. The
battery charge capacity LED lights up while the button is pressed.
2. If the battery charge capacity LED no longer lights up on pressing the
SOS button Z, replace the battery.
Changing the battery
1. Remove the 4 screws on the rear side
of the emergency call unit using a
crosstip screwdriver.
2. Open the cover of the battery
compartment using a narrow
screwdriver, for example.
3. Change the battery. Only use a battery
of the type A23 12V. Pay attention to
the correct polarity.
4. Close the cover of the battery
compartment in the reverse sequence.
