IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES
DANGER
BATTERY EXPLOSION HAZARDS
• Never try to charge non rechargeable
batteries. It may explode because the battery
isn't suitable for charging.
• Never charge a damaged battery it may occur
an explosion because of broken cells.
• Never charge a frozen battery. It may explode
because of gas trapped in the ice. Allow a
frozen battery to thaw out first.
• Never place the charger on top of the battery
when charging as it could cause a short circuit
which may lead to explosion.

ELECTRIC SHOCK
• Observe all warning notes on the battery
charger

• Disconnect the supply cord from the main during
all work on the electrical system.
• Ensure that the cabling dies not jam or comes
into contact with hot surfaces or sharp edges.
• Check the cables prior to use. Ensure that no
cracks have occurred in the cables or bend
protection. A charger with damaged cables
must not be used. A damaged cable must be
replaced by the supplier.
WARNING
OVERHEATING AND FIRE
• Always provide for proper ventilation during
charging.
• Avoid covering the charger.
• A battery being charged could emit explosive
gases.
Prevent sparks close to the battery.
