Transport in a vehicle

WARNING
Do NOT use your wheelchair as seat in a vehicle, see the following symbol.
Never use the same safety belt for passenger and wheelchair.
1. As user, transfer to a seat of the car, see §3.5.
2. Fold the wheelchair to its most compact size according to the instructions in §2.6.
3. Store the wheelchair and its wheels in the luggage compartment. If luggage and passenger
compartments are NOT separated or enclosed, fasten the wheelchair frame securely to the
vehicle.

Folding/Unfolding the backrest (Eclips X2 Kids)

To fold the backrest
1. Press both levers (15) to unlock the backrest tubes.
2. Bend the upper part of the backrest down by the handles till it is
fully folded.
To unfold the backrest
1. Unfold the backrest (1) by pulling the handles (17) upwards until
the frame tubes are locked in place.
2. Check whether the backrest is firmly secured.

Folding/Unfolding the wheelchair

CAUTION
To fold:
1. Fold or remove the footplates (see § 3.2).
2. Take the seat on the front side and backside and pull it up.
3. Push the handgrips to fold up the wheelchair further.
