ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
ENGINE DISASSEMBLY
• Position the engine on a working bench and proceed as follows:
– Remove exhaust pipe.
– Disconnect carburettor and air fi lter box.
– Disconnect the electric system wiring from the engine including
the starter motor.
– Remove all screws and bolts that fi x the engine to the frame.
– Remove the rear brake cable of the wheel.
• Remove the original piston-cylinder assy as follows:
– Remove air conveyor and cooling fan.
– Remove the valve cover.
– Remove the cover that envelops the cylinder.
– Bring the engine to the top dead centre in the compression
phase.
