Thank you for choosing one of the many items that
TOP PERFORMANCES has designed and manufactured to
optimise your vehicle operation.
This piston-cylinder assembly has been designed to improve the
performance of modern 4-stroke engines, known to be much slower
than the standard 2-stroke engines.
The cylinder is made of special MINACROM cast iron. All
machinings are carried out with modern machines tool that allow very
reduced cylinder/piston couplings.
The piston has been designed with a special attention to the
lightweight: it is made of aluminium with a high silicon content. To
enhance reliability we designed stiffening ribs that facilitate the heat
exchange. The piston is provided with one nitrided and chromed steel
piston-ring, one piston-ring in special cast iron and a scraper ring
made up of three special compound and chromed steel parts.
