10 Sequence description
Start-up prerequisites
•
No workpiece in the workpiece holding unit
•
At least 1 empty location of the corresponding color in the storage area
Initial position
•
Planar surface gantry and gripper's spindle axis in start position
•
The station is referenced
•
Gripper open
Store mode operating sequence (Q7 = 0)
1. A workpiece is fed via the chute, the detection module detects its color and a diffuse sensor in the
workpiece holding unit detects its presence.
2. The planar surface gantry and, if necessary, spindle axis travel to the pick position at the holding unit.
3. The gripper is closed.
4. Depending on which color has been detected, the workpiece is advanced to an empty location on the
assigned storage level.
5. The gripper is opened.
6. The planar surface gantry and the spindle axis return to the start position.
Store mode operating sequence (Q7 = 1)
Via input I4 on the control panel, a rising edge can be used to increment the BitCode shown in the
WebVisualization ("BitSelection" under the color selection). Here you can select the storage level manually.
The counter counts from 0 to 5, then resets back to 0.
1. The storage level is set with the BitCode at input I4
2. A workpiece is inserted via the slide.
3. The sequence is started by clicking "Start" on the control panel
4. The planar surface gantry and, if necessary, spindle axis travel to the pick position at the holding unit.
5. The gripper is closed.
6. Depending on which level has been set, the workpiece is advanced to an empty location in the storage
level.
7. The gripper is opened.
8. The planar surface gantry and the spindle axis return to the start position.
