8 Function
The Distributing/conveyor station separates workpieces stored in the magazine tube of the stacking
magazine. A double-acting cylinder pushes the workpieces out one at a time. The conveyor module
transports the workpiece to the right or left. If required, the workpiece can be stopped and separated on the
conveyor.
9 Sequence description
Start-up prerequisites
•
No workpiece at the beginning of the conveyor
•
Load the magazine with at least one workpiece
Initial position
•
Ejector cylinder retracted
•
Conveyor motor off
Sequence
1. If the station is in automatic mode, a workpiece is pushed out at the beginning of the process as long as
there are workpieces in the magazine.
2. The sliding cylinder extends and pushes a workpiece onto the conveyor belt.
3. When the sliding cylinder is retracted again, the conveyor belt switches on.
4. When the workpiece reaches the light barrier at the end of the conveyor belt, the conveyor belt switches
off.
5. If the next station is ready (I6=1), the workpiece is transported to the next station. Alternatively, the
workpiece can be removed from the light barrier by hand.
Notes

The sequence can be stopped by pressing the emergency stop button at any time or by
pressing the STOP button after the cycle.

The following applies when several stations are combined:
The individual stations are aligned in the order opposite the direction of material flow.
