Safety
Keep the globe over the bulb, unless the bulb is cold and the
Bodyclock unplugged.
Don't cover the globe as the slots in it help lose heat from the bulb.
The globe will get warm so keep it clear of anything that might
deteriorate in contact with heat.
Always use a E14 (SES) candle bulb (40W max).
Keep the Bodyclock away from water and damp. For indoor use
only.
Don't open the casing for any reason. There are no user-serviceable
parts inside.

Getting started
Remove the 'globe' , the cover over the bulb, with a gentle upward
tug.
Screw in the bulb firmly and replace the globe.
Find a good position for the Bodyclock close to the bed-head.
Plug the Bodyclock into the mains.
When replacing the bulb, always unplug the Bodyclock. Spare
sunshine neodymium bulbs are available from the Lumie Careline.
You may need to set the time again after you plug it back in.

The controls
L turns the dial illumination on and off.
– turns the light down or off.
+ turns the light up.
A starts the sunset and sets the wake-up sequence. It also stops the
wake-up sequence in the morning.
The slide switch at the side has four positions:
RADIO ON turns the radio on
WAKE UP to RADIO makes the radio come on after the sunrise, as a
back-up reminder that it's time to get up.
WAKE UP to BEEP makes the beeper come on after the sunrise, as a
back-up reminder that it's time to get up.
WAKE UP to LIGHT turns the radio and beeper off so there is no
sound after the sunrise.
AM/FM switch is used to select the waveband.
Tuning dial tunes the radio.
Volume dial controls the volume of the radio.
