General
The CTC condensation tray has been developed as an accessory for the CTC
EcoAir outdoor air heat pump and can be fitted to EcoAir models with stands
with adjustable feet. (Cannot be fitted to older EcoAir with square pipe
stands). The condensation tray collects the water that forms on EcoAir evapo-
rators when they are in operation and when defrosting, where this water can-
not be allowed to drain into the ground below the EcoAir unit. The condensa-
tion tray is fitted with an electric heating coil which keeps the tray ice free at
sub zero outdoor temperatures.
! Note that the condensation tray must be
connected to an electrical power supply. If
not, the tray can be damaged under cold
conditions. The product to which the con-
densation tray is fitted can also be damaged.
Fitting
The condensation tray is fitted to the rear edge of
the EcoAir base plate. Fit the enclosed tape to the
edge of the plate to prevent direct contact between
the plates and the risk of corrosion development.
Picture 3
The stay is fitted to the front of the base beam as shown in the picture. A 12.5 mm diameter hole must be drilled in
the beam to fit the stay. It should be drilled approximately 12 mm from the bottom of the beam and approximately
383 mm from the left edge of the beam as shown in picture 3. There are differences between EcoAir models. There-
fore test fit the condensation tray before drilling the hole.
Fit the rubber nut into the 12.5 mm hole. Then fit the stay, the washer and the bolt in that order as shown in picture
4. Ensure that the stay is as centred as possible in the notch in condensation tray.

a suitable diameter can
alternatively be used.
