C. The Tradilevain will buzz and the display will show "Scrape
down". Open the lid and use the spatula supplied to scrape
down the tank.
D. Close the tank and press the cycle start
the second stirring cycle (*).
E. The Tradilevain switches automatically to the fermentation
cycle after the second mixing.
F. After a time specified in the basic settings, the fermentation
cycle finishes and the Tradilevain switches automatically to
storage. The sourdough starter is then ready for use.
G. Open the valve to obtain sourdough starter.
H. In order to feed, press the
to stop the cycle and resume from step A.
(*) If the mix is not satisfactory after the second stirring cycle, press the
stirring cycle.
If, despite the third stirring cycle, the mixture is still not correct, at the next feed, add 50% of the
working capacity as hot water and 25% as flour. At step D, do not press start cycle; stop the cycle
instead by pressing the
flour.
