Basic Setup (1)

You must do some basic setting when first
using this system. This chapter describes
how to set the OSD (On-Screen Display)
language, color system, audio output mode
and video output mode; how to position and
setup speakers; how to preset the radio
stations, etc.
< If there is too much noise on the SETUP
screen and options are illegible, leave the
screen by pressing the SETUP button,
press the PAL/NTSC button on the remote
g/t/5/b
control, and try again the setup process
from the beginning.
Selecting the Language for OSD
You can select the language for OSD (On-
Screen Display). This setting allows you
select a preferred language for the OSD
menu, operating messages and DVD disc
menu. The default language is ENGLISH.
1 Press the SETUP button to enter SETUP
MENU. Use the 5/bbuttons to select
GENERAL SETUP, and then press ENTER
button.
2 Highlight OSD LANG using the 5 /b
buttons, then press the t button to go to
the right option list. Select the language
using the 5/bbuttons, then press the
ENTER button to confirm your selection.
3 Press the SETUP button again to exit
menu.
Note:
< Some DVDs may not support the selected
language. In this case, the player displays
disc menu consistent with the initial
language of disc.

Vous devez faire des réglages de base
quand vous utilisez cet appareil pour la
première fois. Ce chapitre décrit comment
régler le OSD (Affichage sur l'écran), la
langue, système de couleur, mode sortie
audio et mode sortie vidéo; comment placer
et régler les haut-parleurs; comment pré-
régler les postes de radio etc...
< S'il y a trop beaucoup de bruits sur
l'écran SETUP et les options ne sont pas
lisibles, quitter l'écran en appuyant sur la
touche SETUP, appuyer sur la touche
PAL/NTSC sur la télécommande, et
ensuite essayer de nouveau le réglage
initial depuis le début.

Choisir la langue pour le OSD

Vous pouvez choisir la langue pour le OSD
(Affichage sur l'écran). Ce réglage vous
permet de choisir la langue préférée pour le
menu OSD, messgages d'opération et le
menu de disque DVD. La langue choisie par
défaut est l'anglais.
1 Appuyer sur la touche SETUP pour
accéder le menu SETUP. Utiliser les
touches 5 /b pour choisir GENERAL
SETUP et ensuite appuyer sur la touche
ENTER.
2 Rehausser OSD LANG utilisant les
touches 5 /b ensuite appuyer sur la
touche tpour aller vers la liste d'option
à droite. Choisir la langue shouaitée
utilisant les touches 5 /b et ensuite
appuyer sur la touche ENTER pour
confirmer votre choix.
3 Appuyer sur la touche SETUP de nouveau
pour quitter le menu
Remarque:
< Il est possible que certain DVDs ne
supporte pas la langue choisie. Dans ce
cas, le lecteur montre un menu en rapport
avec la langue initialle du disque.
