4.4 Use of the Pulse 50
Setting the dose:
The P50 has a 'dosing
knob' on the front of the
gun. This can be used to
set the dose between
0.1 cc and 0.5 cc.
Turning the dosing knob
moves the gun's dosing
chamber in or out. The
corresponding dose
setting is marked on the
dosing chamber.
In the picture opposite,
the P50 is set to 0.3 cc.

Preparing the P50 for
use:
Activate the P50
manually two or three
times; it will then draw
up the liquid
automatically. The P50
is ready for use. (See section 4.6.1 for how to activate the P50
manually.)
If the P50 does not draw up liquid automatically, remove the bottle
assembly part from the gun but leave the inlet valve in place. Do not
lose the steel ball-bearing in the inlet valve!
Fill the inlet valve with water.
Fit the bottle assembly back on the gun. Activate the gun manually twice.
