5.5 Engine maintenance
This operating manual only makes reference to
daily engine maintenance. The engine operating
manual and contained maintenance information
Attention
and intervals must be observed.
5.5.1 ABS 68: Refuelling
Fire hazard!
Only fill in fuel with the engine shut down and the

fuel valve closed. Do not spill any fuel!
Do not inhale any fuel fumes.
No fire, do not smoke!
Fuel:
Unleaded petrol according to EN 228
Oil:
Use only two-stroke engine oil, whereby the oil may also have
self-mixing abilities.
Unsuitable oil causes premature oil carbon deposits in the outlet
manifold of the engine.

To mix the gasoline with the oil pour both substances into a
clean bowl and shake it well for approx. 1 minute. Do not fill
the mixing vessel completely.

Clean the area around the fuel filler neck
•
Open the fuel filler neck
•
Check the fuel level visually
•
Refuel if necessary; max. 2.5
•
Close tank cap properly

Open oil filler neck (1)

Check oil level, top up to edge of filler neck (max.) if necessary

Check dipstick seal and replace if necessary
