3.
Avoid adding too much air tool oil as this can cause premature power
loss and eventual tool failure. A qualified technician will need to take
the tool apart and clean out the excess oil.
4.
Apply a generous amount of air tool oil to the tool before storing it for
an extended period of time (overnight, weekend, etc.). Run the tool for
approximately 30 seconds to ensure the oil is evenly distributed
throughout the tool. Store it in a clean and dry location.
5.
Install an in-line oiler on the air supply line to increase tool life. Place a
sheet of paper next to the tool's exhaust ports and hold the throttle
open for approximately 30 seconds. The in-line oiler is properly set
when a light stain of oil collects on the paper. Avoid excessive amounts
of oil.
6.
Use air-tool oil or any other high-grade turbine oil containing moisture
absorbent, rust inhibitors, metal wetting agents and an EP (extreme
pressure) additive.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM LUBRICATION
1.
Remove the oil plug (C) with a provided hex key and set aside.
2.
Fill the reservoir with hydraulic oil. Be careful not to overfill.
3.
Screw the oil plug back into place and clean any excess oil.
