Grundplatte Drehrichtungskontrolle mit Einströmdüse Baureihe B VD Ø 315-900 F400/F600 Der Brandgas-Dachventilator ist ein direktangetriebener Ventilator bei dem ein IEC-Drehstrom-Motor außerhalb des Luftstroms in einer Motorkapselung sitzt. Im Lüftungs- und Brandfall (Mindestdrehzahl beachten) erfolgt die Belüftung der Motorkapselung automatisch. Die Förderrichtung ist über den Motor blasend. Der Strömungsverlauf ermöglicht eine verlustarme, geradlinige Luftführung und sorgt für einen hohen Wirkungsgrad des Ventilators.

Ventilatoraufstellung im Freien: Die Brandgas-Ventilatoren vom Typ B VD sind in der Einbauanordnung für vertikale Luftförderrichtung für den Einsatz unter normalen Witterungsbedingungen im Freien, wie sie üblicherweise vorherrschen, geeignet. Das Eindringen von Niederschlagswasser in den Brandgas-Ventilator ist zulässig, dieses muss jedoch ungehindert aus dem Gehäuse ab- laufen können.
