Function
This model offers the following features and
characteristics:
The model comes fitted with RP-25 wheel sets
G
for operation on code 75 track. This means that
operation is not possible on almost all track
systems used in Europe. RP-25 is a standard
of the American "National Model Railroad Asso-
ciation" (NMRA).

The model can optionally be controlled by direct
current (max. ± 14 Volt =) or by a DCC multi-train
system functioning to the NMRA standard.
The operating mode is detected automatically
(factory setting).

Front and rear lighting dependent on direction
of travel, with intensity depending on the amount
of supply voltage on the track. In forward travel
the front number panels are switched on. In DCC
operation the lighting function can be switched
on and off.

Only in DCC operation:
– Operating noise can be activated.
– Noises of a locomotive whistle, bell or injector
can be activated.
– Driver's cab lighting can be activated.

Can be retrofitted with up to 2 smoke generators.
Smoke generators are always on, regardless of
the operating mode.

This locomotive is to be used only with an operating
system designed for it.

This locomotive must never be supplied with
power from more than one transformer.
