4 | Installation

4.1 | Preparation

Put your motorcycle on its stand and make sure it cannot topple over. Then
disconnect the battery by removing the earth (ground) (black cable). Next, open
the existing main headlight. Before you disassemble the original headlight, make
sure that the gazzini LED Headlight fits the existing fixture. Then disconnect the
plug from the lamp unit. Carefully pull all cables out of the lamp pod and unscrew
the lamp pod from the vehicle.

4.2 | Attachment

To ensure road safety, the headlight must be attached to the vehicle in a reliable
and adjustable way. The word "TOP" that is written on the glass, must be aligned
horizontally and facing upwards. Depending on the model of headlight, it is
either fastened at the bottom of the triple tree or on the side on appropriate light
mounts, using the supplied bolts (M8 side mount; M10 bottom mount).
IMPORTANT!
Risk of short circuit!
• If more cables need to be accommodated in the headlight
housing, make sure that none are trapped.
• The cables must not rest directly against the heat sink for
the electronics as the resulting heat can damage the cable
insulation, which may subsequently cause a short circuit.

4.3 | Electrical connection

The LED main headlight is fitted with an H4 connector as shown in the illustration.
