4.1 | Preparation

Jack up the motorcycle securely in a clean, well-lit workplace and
remove the existing bar ends from the handlebar. Compare the
thread and the shape of the connection of the gazzini Bar Ends
with the original bar ends.

4.2 | Installation on handlebars with internal thread

If the thread of the original bar end matches the thread of the
respective gazzini Bar End, the new bar end can now be installed.
One of the six coloured spacer rings and one gazzini Bar-End Mirror
must always be connected to the gazzini Bar End. Now screw the
bar end into the handlebar tube and tighten with a hexagon key
(size 5).
CAUTION!
Risk of accident!
• Make sure that the throttle twistgrip on the
motorcycle is not impeded by the bar end and
any installed mirror (stem). There should be
2 mm clearance between the throttle twistgrip
and the mirror stem. The throttle twistgrip
must turn easily and spring back by itself when
released.
Then align the installed bar-end mirror whilst seated on the vehicle
so that you have a good view of the road behind you, and then
fasten the mirror on the bar end in the final position. Then check
once more that the bar end and mirror are sufficiently firmly in
place on the handlebar – they must not move out of position as a
result of the airstream.
