7.2 Suspended platforms with walkthrough stirrups
1. Fit the side frames to the U-frames and secure with quick-pins (4 quick-pins in every side frame)
2. Lock quick-pins with red safety rings.
3. Repeat until you have the desired platform length.

4. Mount the castor wheels and secure with quick-pins.
5. Mount the guardrail posts and secure with quick-pins. Make sure that the top of the guardrail posts are 1 meter above the
platform floor.
6. Mount the end rails and secure them with quick-pins (4 pins for each end rail). Caution! The quick-pins must be fitted from
the inside to the outside. If not, the red lock pin cannot be fitted. See the close-up image.
7. Check if all quick-pins are locked with red safety rings.
8. Mount the reversible decks between the side frames. Snap into place behind spring loaded retaining lever arms. Only place
reversible decks with the same length as the sideframes.
9. Mount the guardrails (only at one side of the suspended platform) into the guardrail posts and secure with quick-pins. Lock
the pins with the red safety rings.
10. Mount roller bumpers (if used). Make sure that lowest part hooks under the sideframe, the top part is mounted over the toe
board and the 2 screws are tightened.

12. Determine where on the suspended platform the walkthrough stirrups will be mounted:
- Check what the permitted cable distance is as listed on the text plate on the walkthrough stirrup or in the table in
appendix T4.
- Make sure the stirrups are aligned with the suspension rigs (also the ones on roofs).
- Make sure the suspended platform is balanced: the cantilevered/overhanging section must be equal on
both sides of the platform.
