Even though the model and the remote control system were built with state-of-the-art technology, malfunctions or breakdowns can occur.
For this reason, we would like to show you how you can remedy possible breakdowns.
Problems with the RC system
Problem

Transmitter or receiver batteries are empty
•
Batteries are inserted in the wrong manner
•
Connector of the receiver batteries is loose
RC system is not functioning
•
Replace the transmitter and/or receiver batteries
•
Check the polarity of the batteries
•
Firmly insert the connector again
•
Transmitter and/or receiver batteries are weak
•
Transmitter antenna is not pulled out
•
Receiver antenna is not extended to its full length
•
Receiver antenna has been cut
Range of the transmitter to low
•
Replace the transmitter and/or receiver batteries
•
Pull the antenna all the way out
•
Pull the antenna wire all the way out
•
Have the receiver repaired
•
Transmitter and/or receiver batteries are weak
•
Cogwheels in the servo-drive don't catch or are defective
•
Adjusting rings on the adjustment levers are loose
•
Servo-reverse switch on the transmitter was mistakenly turned to "REV"
Servos do not respond properly
•
Replace the transmitter and/or receiver batteries
•
Have the servo repaired
•
Set the adjusting rings again, using the factory placements
•
Turn the servo-reverse to "NORM"
•
Receiver quartz is loose
•
Connector of the receiver battery is loose
•
Receiver is damaged, e.g., after a crash
•
One or more electrical / electronic components have come into contact with moisture
•
Insert the receiver quartz again
RC system is defective
•
Firmly insert the connector again
•
Have the receiver repaired
•
Let the model / the components thoroughly dry out for several hours (overnight) in a
warm place.
•
If necessary, have the part repaired.
Problems in flight operations

Flight battery is not completely charged

Transmitter battery is not completely charged

The circuit has been interrupted (e.g., after a crash)

Transmitter and receiver quartz do not match

Motor is broken

Drive cogwheel is jammed

Charge the transmitter battery

Restore the connexion
•
Change to an appropriate quartz pair
•
Replace the motor
•
Check the alignment of the drive cogwheel
•
Swashplate is linked
•
Gyro is defective or calibrated wrongly
Model doesn't fly straight ahead
•
Correct the swashplate position on the corresponding trim lever of the remote control
transmitter
•
Replace the gyro oder or recalibrate it
•
Flight battery is not completely charged
Model does not climb
•
Charge the flight battery
