DESCRIPTION OF THE BOILER

"FORMAT.zip" boilers are gas-fired thermal
FR
appliances for central heating and dome-
stic hot water production, designed and
manufactured to satisfy the needs of multi-
ple dwelling and modern boiler room requi-
rements. They comply with ANSI Z21. 13
and CSA 4.9 GAS FIRED LOW PRESSURE
STEAM AND HOT WATER BOILERS.
These appliances can be fired by both natu-
ral gas and Liquid Propane Gas.
This booklet provides the instructions for
the "FORMAT.zip 35 BF" with eletronic igni-
tion, modulation, and direct sealed forced-
draught.
The instructions given in this manual are
provided to ensure proper installation and
perfect operation of the appliance.

IMPORTANT
When carrying out commissioning of the
boiler, you are highly recommended to
perform the following checks:
1.
Make sure that there are no liquids or
inflammable materials in the imme-
diate vicinity of the boiler.
2. Make sure that the electrical connec-
tions have been made correctly and
that the earth wire is connected to a
good earthing system.
3. Open the gas cock and check the
soundness of the connections, inclu-
ding that of the burner.
4. Make sure that the boiler is set for
operation for the type of gas supplied.
5. Check that the flue pipe ensuring the

outlet of products of the combustion
is unobstructed and has been pro-
perly installed.
6. Make sure that any shuotff valves are
open.
7.
Make sure that the system is charged
with water and is thoroughly vented.
8. Check that the circulating pump is not
locked.
9. Purge the system, bleeding off the air
present in the gas pipe according to
procedures outlined in the local codes
or those having jurisdiction.
10. The installer must provide the user
with instruction in operation of the
boiler and safety devices and hand
over the instruction booklet to the
user.
