5.2 Accessories
• 1 pc. 13E203 casting template for inner socket
• 1 pc. 13E204 lamination template for outer socket
• 2 pc. 507S15 lamination plate with bore
• 2 pc. 503F3 socket screw with Allen head
The following products are also required:
• 757M11=X-Change MyoBoy
• 13E129=* electrode cable
• 1 pc. 617H46 bonding agent
6 Preparing the product for use
6.1 Connecting the product
1) Shorten the electrode cable as needed.
2) Push the electrode cable with the grey side up into the plug connection
all the way to the stop (see fig. 2).
3) Grease the connector receptacle of the product and the pin contacts
with 633F11 silicone grease.
4) Apply 633F11 silicone grease to the electrode cable receptacle.
5) Insert the plug connection with connected electrode cable as far as pos­
sible into the product (see fig. 3).
6) Remove any silicone grease that seeps out.
Electrode cable replacement
1) Pull off the electrode cable at right angles to the product (see fig. 4).
2) Cut off at least 5 mm of the electrode cable and push it back into the
plug connection.
6.2 Inserting the product
1) Apply 617H46 bonding agent into the groove of the electrode pad (see
fig. 5).
2) Insert the product into the socket from the inside.
6.3 Adjusting the product
1) Use the adjustment tool to set the product sensitivity (see fig. 6).
2) After a pause of 10 to 15 minutes, readjust the sensitivity.
INFORMATION
The patient must be able to hold the maximal value of the control unit for at
least 2 seconds. If this is not observed, the product setting is overly sensit­
ive which makes it more difficult for the patient to control the prosthesis.
