Battery connection
Install junction box in a location that is protected from mois-
ture and humidity and is not accessible to children. Ensure
that there is sufficient space for routing the cables.
Secure junction box with two 5.5 x 25 screws (provided).
Route charging cables to battery and make a connection via
the junction box.
Attach emergency stop connector (X1) to the device. Ensure
that the connector is locked in place.
Attach the cover of the junction box with 2 screws (enclosed)

Measuring lines / handling the blade connectors
Route measuring lines to battery and dynamo and connect
as per the connection diagram. Fit blade connectors and plug
into unit (X2).
Push the insulated cover over
the wire.
Remove 5 mm of the the insulation.
Push the blade connector onto
the wire until it will go no fur-
ther – the bare part of the wire
must lie in the front terminal.
Now press the blade connector
onto the wire using a
suitable crimping tool.
Check that the blade connec-
tor sits tight on the wire.
Push the insulated cover over
the blade connector.

Temperature sensor
Attach temperature sensor to the battery (installation instruc-
tions are provided with the temperature sensor) and plug into
the device (X3).
Cable fixing
All cables must be securely attached and must not become
loose or disconnected due to vibration – risk of fire!
Secure all cables and connectors (e.g. to power sources,
consumers and accessories) with cable binders.
Secure the cables that lead into the device.
Function check
After installation, the gas feed line must be tested for tight-
ness by the pressure-drop method. A test certificate must be
issued (e.g. in accordance with DVGW Work Sheet G 607 in
Germany).
Then check all functions of the appliance, as specified in the
operating instructions, in particular the water content draining
function. There shall be no guarantee claims for damage
caused by frost!
The operating instructions must be handed to the owner of
the vehicle.
Warning information
The installer or vehicle owner must apply the yel low sticker
with the war ning information, which is enclosed with the
applian ce, to a place in the vehicle where it is clearly visible to
all users (e.g. on the wardrobe door)! Ask Truma to send you
stickers, if neces sary.
