Trouble-shooting list

Before calling customer service, please restart the device. If the fault occurs repeatedly or if the described measures
do not remedy the problem, please contact Truma Service.
Fault Cause
F 3 – Undervoltage < 10.5 V.
F 4 – Overvoltage > 15.0 V.
F 10 – Gas cylinder or quick-acting valve in gas line
closed.
– Gas pressure regulation system iced up.
– Proportion of butane in cylinder too high.
F 13 – Fault after long stop period or cartridge change.
F 16 – No gas.
F 20 – Undervoltage < 10.5 V.
F 27 – Soiled (non-deionised) water in system.
F 36 – Overvoltage > 15.0 V.
F 40, F 50 – Inlet for supply air and exhaust outlet closed.
F 60 – No gas. Check gas supply.
– Air inlet for supply air and exhaust outlet closed.
F 62 – Ambient temperature too low.
F 63, F 64 – Ambient temperature too high.
F 65, F 66, F 67, – Air inlet for supply air and exhaust outlet closed.
F 68
F 106 – Battery temperature too high.
F 107 – Inlet for supply air and exhaust outlet closed.
F 110 – Soiled (non-deionised) water in system.
F 111 – Maximum run-time until service is required has
been reached.
S 1 – Device starting too frequently. Defective / worn
out battery.
S 2 – Undervoltage < 10,5 V.
S 3 – Window above exhaust outlet open
(window switch).
S 4 – No gas. Check gas supply.
S 5 – Vehicle engine running. D+ (D-) signal active.
S 6 – Water container (internal) empty.
S 8 – Device temperature too low.
Drain valve – Temperature at drain valve less than approx. 3 °C.
(FrostControl) is (If the temperature is below approximately 3 °C,
opening. the drain valve will open automatically!)

Rectification
– Check battery voltage and charge battery if
necessary.
– Short-term immediate measure. Switch off
powerful consumers and start vehicle engine
until the device is running.
– Insufficient battery capacity, replace worn out
battery if necessary.
– Error in standby – check on-board power
system.
– Error in charging mode – please contact Truma
Service.
– Check gas supply and open valves.
– Use regulator heating (EisEx).
– Use propane. (Butane is unsuitable, particularly
at temperatures of less than 10 °C).
– Several starting procedures may be necessary.
– Check gas supply. See error F 10.
– See error F 3.
– Flush system 2-3 times.
(Drain water from system via the drain valve
and fill with deionised water via the top-up
container).
– See error F 4.
– Check whether openings are clear. Remove soil-
ing (slush, ice, leaves etc.).

– Heat room in which equipment is installed.
– Restart device at a lower ambient temperature.

– Restart device at a lower ambient temperature.

– Device needs servicing. Please contact Truma
Service.

replace battery if necessary.

– Close window.

– Add deionised water via the top-up container.

– Switch on vehicle heater if necessary. When
temperature is above approx. 7 °C at drain valve,
it can be closed again

– Turn the drain valve's rotary switch to "Operation",
then press the push button until it engages.
