SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
- It 'compulsory to wear resistant shoes while using the equipment.
- Before transporting the machine, stop the engine and wait for the complete
shutdown of the stages of the snow thrower. When moving the machine to the
outside of the work area, the front propeller must be disengaged.
- Pay particular attention to using the snow thrower on banks and slopes, always
work in the direction of the slope, never across and in any case never work on
slopes greater than 30%.
MAINTENANCE:
Thoroughly clean the equipment after each use with a brush or rag.
Do not use chemicals to clean the plastic parts to avoid damage.
Do not use water in the area next/around the engine.
Replace the oil in the gearbox. To access the oil filler cap follow the instructions in
the following section
Periodic oil change (Fig. 9):
The oil inside the gearbox is to be replaced after the first 50 hours and then
periodically after 600-700 hours of operation or at least once a year with 0:35 lt. Oil
SAE 90 EP or equivalent.
To access the oil filler cap [25] it is necessary to disassemble the casing equipment
[2 ] from the snow plow frame [8] . Then position the accessory in a vertical position
as shown in FIG . Unscrew the six nuts [21] and remove the plastic cover [1] if still
present. Unscrew the four passing through screws [22] and remove the black frame
[2] . Remove the gearbox from the hub [24] and change the oil after you open the
cap on the back of it.
IMPORTANT: To prevent pollution of groundwater, the used oil must NOT be thrown
into sewers or water channels . Deposits for the used oil are located at all the
gas stations, or in approved landfills according to the regulations of the municipal
council.
Re-Install the gearbox on the hub and re-thread the frame accessory [2]. First
screw the nuts [ 21] and only subsequently the passing screws [22 ] in such a way
that the two angular profiles [23 ] are not in contact with the pulley.
GARAGING:
Keep the machine in environment not directly exposed to the weather and stored
in a safe condition.
Completely drain the fuel tank when the unit is left stopped for a long period. The
tank must be always emptied outdoors.
