in safe conditions i.e. with the engine off and the spark plug disconnected .
SNOW DISCHARGE SPOUT ASSEMBLY (Fig. 5) :
- Position the mouth of the snow discharge [8] on the mouth of the snow plow frame
[9] .
- Place the black slides [ 10 ] and [11] below the discharge snow mouth [ 8] making
sure the slide [ 10 ] to be above the slide [ 11] . Secure the whole with the screws
[12] and the nuts [ 13] .
– Repeat the a.m. operation with the other two sets of slides .
- Tighten the screws.
MOUNTING THE ROD MOUTH for the SNOW DISCHARGE adjustment (Fig. 6):
- Insert the rod [14] into the hole [15].Insert the washer [a ] and apply the R pin [16]
into the hole made at the end the same rod to secure it.
- Insert the rod [17] into the rod bushing [14] and then insert the R pin [18] to fix
the two half-rods.
- Fasten the handlebar support [19] to the handlebar in a position such that the rod
does not turn out to be of trouble and / or dangerous to user or other third parties.
WORKING ADJUSTMENTS (Fig. 6 A): You can adjust the working height of the
snow thrower. Take the two slides [20] provided inside the loose parts bag, and
tighten them on the accessories using the screws [21] as shown in the picture.
Fig. 5) : it is possible to adjust the ejection unit snow direction acting on the
handle (A). Make sure there are no people or animals in the ejection area as it
could cover a range from 8 -12 m.
INSTRUCTIONS: Make sure that you have completely/carefully followed all the
steps described in the assembly instructions. Before rotating the equipment, please
carefully read all warnings and make sure that there are no persons in front of the
working area!
Fig 7) keeping the engine running and the throttle speed at full, release the safety
lever [A] turning upward, then carefully lower the clutch lever [B], so as to bring the
blades up to speed without slide the belt in the pulley. In this way also you avoid
the engine to "choke".
Fig 8) Press the lever [C] to proceed forward. Pay attention to the early release
of the forward lever in case of impact against any unforeseen obstacles and turn
off the engine immediately acting on the throttle. Remove the obstacles and make
sure there is no damage or evident deformation in the helical device. In the event
of a severe impact if there are any deformation or visible damage, replace all da-
maged parts with their pins, screws and tightening nuts! If necessary, apply to an
authorized service workshop.
