Baking Plate Assembly
1.
Choose matching baking plates for both the mini donuts and waffl e sticks.
Check the baking plate's backsides to determine UPPER and LOWER baking plates.
(See Figure 4.)
NOTE: Use the fl at upper baking plate for mini cupcakes only. (See Figure 1.)

2. Grasp the clean upper baking plate with tabs facing down. Fully insert the 2 plate tabs into the
2 housing slots. Then press the upper baking plate into the body until it snaps securely into place.

3. Grasp the clean lower baking plate with tabs facing inward. Fully insert the 2 tabs into the 2 housing
slots. Then press the lower baking plate into the body until it snaps securely into place. (See Figure 6.)

WARNING: To avoid damage to property and injury to persons, NEVER store the Treat Maker
without fi rst having 2 MATCHING upper and lower baking plates properly assembled and
locked into position.
4. Set the appliance on a dry, clean and fl at surface. Keep the Treat Maker closed until use.
Operating instructions
1.
Pull the handle latch lock up to unlock. Lift the lid to the open position.
WARNING: To avoid injury to persons and/or damage to property, NEVER plug the
Treat Maker into any electrical outlet without fi rst having your chosen 2 MATCHING
upper and lower baking plates properly assembled and locked into position.
Please see "Before Using for the First Time" section of this instruction manual for
complete baking plate removal and assembly instructions.
2. Before baking the fi rst mini cup cakes, mini donuts or waffl e sticks of the day, use a pastry
brush or paper towel to apply a generous coat of oil to each of the cavities on the upper
and lower baking plates.
3. Close the lid. Fold the handle latch over the handle. An audible click can be heard as the latch
locks the Treat Maker closed.
4. Plug unit into a 120V AC electrical outlet to preheat. The red POWER ON light will illuminate.
NOTE: When your Treat Baker is heated for the fi rst time, it may emit slight smoke or odor.
This is normal and should disappear after 1 or 2 uses. This does not affect the safety of
the appliance. However, as it may affect the fl avor of the fi rst baked goods prepared in
the Treat Maker, it is recommended that these be discarded.
5. While preheating, prepare batter.
6. After approximately 4 to 5 minutes, the red READY light will illuminate, indicating the unit
is preheated and is ready for use.
