Sucking up liquids
Information for use
You can suck up spilled, non-hazardous liquids on water basis
(for example water, coffee, etc .) with the THoMAS TWIN T2
PARQUET .
c Caution! Petrol, thinners, heating oil, etc ., can develop explosive
vapours and mixtures if mixed with the intake air .
c Acetone, acids and solvents can attack the materials used in the
production of the appliance . Both clean and waste water can be
sucked up without any hesitation .
c Clean and dry the waste water tank and all the parts used after
sucking up liquids .
c Never suck up liquids without the waste water tank
and the installed anti-splash grid.
c Your THoMAS TWIN T2 PARQUET is not suitable for sucking up
larger quantities of liquid from containers or basins .
c Caution! Never activate the pump without water in the fresh
water tank .
c Empty and clean the appliance every time it has been used for
wet cleaning . Waste water and moist parts favour the growth of
bacteria and fungi (see cleaning and maintenance instructions) .
Put together 2-piece anti-splash grid .
Remove the AQUAFILTER from the waste water tank by its grip
and insert anti-splash grid .
Remove HEPA filter from the appliance .
Insert the anti-splash grid and waste water tank in the
appliance . Make sure that the wet filter (13a) is fitted .
Connect suction hose .
Select a suitable nozzle and fit it on the suction tube or hand grip,
respectively .
Pull out the mains plug from the appliance and connect to the power
supply .
Switch on the appliance and set for maximum suction power .
Make sure that the mechanical suction power regulation (26) is com-
pletely closed .
When not working, hold the suction tube and hose upwards at an
angle for a few seconds while the motor is still running to prevent the
liquid still in the suction tube from running backwards . Switch off the
appliance afterwards .
The float in the waste water tank automatically interrupts the
suction operation if the waste water tank is full (You can clearly
hear the motor running at a higher speed in this case .) Switch
off appliance, disconnect the mains plug and empty the waste
water tank .
