Mounting instructions
1) Remove the rear bumper and remove permanently the buffer beam. For vehicles as from January 2008
the exhaust pipe has to be loosened and lowered.
2) Insert the supporting arms to the left (1) and to the right (2) through the holes that appear in the chassis
bars. The fixing points A correspond to the pre-drilled holes in the underside of the chassis bar, insert
the bolts and nuts and fasten the by using a hand-held screw driver.
3) Position the tow bar with fixing points B and C between both supporting arms and insert the bolts;
fasten everything well according to the specified turning moments.
4) Make a cut out underneath the bumper:
-
according to drawing 1 for Lancia Voyager
-
according to drawing 2 for Chrysler Grand Voyager as from 2005 till December 2007
-
according to drawing 3 for Chrysler Grand Voyager as from January 2008-
Mount the bumper back on the vehicle
5) Mount the ball together with the safety bracket (-s) and the socket holder (-p), insert the bolts and fasten
everything well according to the turning moments.
Removal of the rear bumper, vehicles as from 2500 till December 2007

4 plastic pressure screws underneath the bumper
-
2x3 screws on the wheel housings
2x1 screw at the entrance of the vehicle's trunk
-
-
socket for the PDC is to be found at the right side outside the vehicle
-
slide the bumper backwards
Removal of the rear bumper, vehicles as from January 2008-
-
Demount rear light units by means of 2 screws and pull the units behind
-
2x1 plastic plug under rear light unit
2x2 screws at the entrance of the vehicle's trunk
-
-
2x3 plastic plugs on the wheel housings
-
4 plastic plugs underneath the bumper
-
Socket for PDC is to be found on the right side outside the vehicle
-
Loosen both sides of the bumper and slide the bumper backwards
Hinweise

Im Bereich der Anlageflächen muss der Unterbodenschutz und das Antidröhnmaterial entfernt werden.
Vor dem Bohren prüfen, dass dort eventuell keine Leitungen beschädigt werden können.
