Release the filter holder by pressing the
turning it towards the left

It is normal that every time the selector dial

"ESE" for "Easy Serving Espresso" is a packaged pod (44 mm
diameter) of 7g of selected coffee, ground and compacted
between two paper filters, specially designed to make Italian style
ristretto (small and strong) espressos. This system allows an
immediate, simple, clean and comfortable use of your machine.
