Filing equipment and ling angles
Using Husqvarna le gauge will give you the correct ling angles. We recommend always using a Husqvarna le gauge
to restore the sharpness of the saw chain. The part numbers are given in the table below.

saws for forest service Husqvarna 543 XP and 543 XPG from 2016's serial numbers and onwards (the year is clearly
stated in plain text on the type plate with subsequent serial number), are in conformity with the requirements of the
COUNCIL'S DIRECTIVES:
- of May 17, 2006 "relating to machinery" 2006/42/EC.
- of February 26, 2014 "relating to electromagnetic compatibility" 2014/30/EU.
- of May 8, 2000 "relating to the noise emissions in the environment" 2000/14/EC.
For information relating to noise emissions, see the Technical data chapter. The following standards have been
applied: EN ISO 12100-2010, ISO 14982:2009, EN ISO 11681-1:2011
Notied body: 0404, SMP Svensk Maskinprovning AB, Box 7035, SE-750 07 Uppsala, Sweden, has carried out EC
type examination in accordance with the machinery directive's (2006/42/EC) article 12, point 3b. The certicates for EC
type examination in accordance with annex VI, have the numbers: 0404/12/2360 – 543 XP, 543 XPG.
In addition, SMP, Svensk Maskinprovning AB, Box 7035, SE-750 07 Uppsala, Sweden, has certied conformity with
annex V of the Council's Directive of May 8, 2000 "relating to the noise emissions in the environment" 2000/14/EC. The
certicates have the numbers:
