PRE-OPERATION CHECK

ENGINE OIL

The engine oil is a crucial factor in
the power and the life cycle of the
engine. Non-HD oils and two-
stroke motor oils damage the
engine and therefore are not
recommended.
PRIOR TO EACH USE check the
oil level while the generator is
switched off and placed on an even
surface. Use a four-stroke or
similar HD oil of best quality, which
complies with or exceeds the regulations of the U.S. American automobile
manufacturers for the classes SG, SF/CC, CD. Motor oils of class SG,
SF/CC, CD display this term on their packaging.
SAE 10W-30 is recommended for general, all-temperature use. Other
viscosities shown in the chart may be used when the average
temperature in your area is within the indicated range.
1.Place the generator on a level surface.
2.Loosen the cover screw and remove the left side maintenance cover.
