    FONCTIONNEMENT EN CC La prise CC doit UNIQUEMENT être utilisée pour charger des batteries de type automobile de 12 volts. La sortie de charge CC n'est pas régulée. Lorsque vous utilisez la sortie CC, placez le commutateur des gaz sur la position OFF.
  • Page 20 ATTENTION Ne démarrez pas le véhicule alors que le câble de chargement de la batterie est connecté et que le générateur fonctionne. Le véhicule ou le générateur risque d'être endommagé. Un circuit CC surchargé, un courant excessif tiré par la batterie ou un problème de câblage va couper le système de protection du circuit CC (le bouton POUSSOIR sort dehors)).

    SYSTÈME DES GAZ Avec l'interrupteur placé sur la position ON, le régime du moteur diminue automatiquement lorsque les charges sont réduites, hors service ou débranchées. Lorsque les appareils sont en service ou reconnectés, le moteur revient au régime approprié afin d'alimenter la charge électrique. En position OFF (arrêt), le système de gaz ne fonctionne pas.

    FONCTIONNEMENT EN HAUTE ALTITUDE En haute altitude, le mélange standard air/carburant du carburateur est trop riche. Les performances vont diminuer et la consommation en carburant va augmenter. Un mélange très riche va également encrasser la bougie d'allumage et poser des problèmes au démarrage. Le fonctionnement en altitude qui diffère de celle pour laquelle le moteur était certifié, pendant de longues périodes, risque d'augmenter les émissions.

    REMPLISSAGE Le moteur à l'arrêt, vous pouvez enlever le bouchon du réservoir et contrôler le niveau de carburant. Remplissez le réservoir si le niveau est faible. Remplissez attentivement afin d'éviter que le carburant ne soit éclaboussé. Ne pas remplir au-delà de la limite supérieure indiquée.     ENTRETIEN DE LA BOUGIE D'ALLUMAGE Pour effectuer l'entretien de la bougie d'allumage, il vous faudra une clé pour bougie (disponible dans le commerce). Bougies recommandées : A7RTC (LD) Afin de garantir le bon fonctionnement du moteur, la bougie d'allumage doit être écartée correctement et libre de tout dépôt.

Si le générateur a été utilisé, laissez-le refroidir pendant au moins 15 minutes avant de le charger sur le véhicule de transport.

Desserrer la vis du couvercle, puis enlever le couvercle de maintenance. Après avoir mis le générateur à niveau, enlever le bouchon de remplissage de l'huile/jauge.

    THROTTLE SYSTEM With the switch in the ON position, engine speed is automatically lowered when loads are reduced, turned OFF or disconnected. When appliances are turned ON or reconnected, the engine returns to the proper speed to power the electrical load. In the OFF position, the throttle system does not operate.

    HIGH ALTITUDE OPERATION At high altitude, the standard carburetor air/fuel mixture will be too rich. Performance will decrease, and fuel consumption will increase. A very rich mixture will also foul the spark plug and cause difficulty in starting. Operation at an altitude that differs from that at which this engine was certified, for extended periods of time, may increase emissions.

    PRE-OPERATION CHECK ENGINE OIL The engine oil is a crucial factor in SAE VISCOSITY GRADES the power and the life cycle of the engine. Non-HD oils and two- stroke motor oils damage the engine and therefore are not recommended. PRIOR TO EACH USE check the oil level while the generator is switched off and placed on an even surface.

Do not fill above the upper limit mark. Petrol is highly flammable and explosive. You can be burned or seriously injured when handling fuel.

    INITIAL USE INSTRUCTIONS ADDING ENGINE OIL The generator is shipped WITHOUT OIL in the engine. 1. Place the generator on a level surface. 2. Loosen the cover screw and remove the maintenance cover. 3. With the generator in a level position, remove the oil filler cap/ dipstick.

    ADDING FUEL This engine is certified to operate on unleaded petrol with a pump octane rating of 95 or 98. Never use stale or contaminated gasoline or an oil/gasoline mixture. Avoid getting dirt or water in the fuel tank. If the fuel level is low, refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine stopped.

    1. Remove the fuel tank cap. 2.Fuel carefully to avoid spilling fuel. Do not fill the fuel tank above the upper limit mark on the fuel strainer. Fuel can damage paint and plastic. Be careful not to spill fuel when filling your fuel tank.
