G. Description of the interface
The QI touch board has a touch screen for setting up the device's parameters.
The interface can also be accessed via embedded web pages using the Internet browser on your computer, smartphone,
or tablet by entering the address http://192.168.44.201/. Two methods of connection are possible:
- Connection to a computer by cable: With a standard network cable (not supplied), connect the Ethernet port
of the Qi touch board to the Ethernet port of the computer. Configure the computer's network as follows (IP address:
192.168.44.1, Mask: 255.255.255.0) (for your computer's network configuration, follow the instructions provided by
your operating system supplier)
- Wireless connection to a computer, smartphone, or tablet device: Connect the Wi-Fi dongle (supplied as
an optional extra) to one of the USB ports (board restart required). On the touchscreen, go to the menu "Settings,
General" and make a note of the "Wi-Fi SSID" and "Wi-Fi password". On your computer, tablet device, or smartphone,
select the "Wi-Fi SSID" of the Qi touch board from the list of available networks and enter the "Wi-Fi password" (for
Wi-Fi configuration, follow the instructions provided by your operating system supplier).
The menus are interactive, responding to the entries that you make; that is why certain parameters will be masked or
displayed, depending on a parameter entered earlier.
All inputs and outputs are assignable.
A choice is offered according to the type of connector (inputs or outputs). It is then possible to change the allocation
of an overload function, for example, by always selecting the board and the connector.
The Up push button and Down push button connectors are reversible. They can be used as inputs or outputs.
Then you can use an output intended as an "Up push button" (BPM0 for example) to control an "indicator out of order"
output or to be a "landing priority" input.
Depending on the valued to be modified, you will see a keyboard, a drop-down list or a tick box appear.
This is how the screen works:
Saving the parameters.
