RECOMMENDATIONS OF USE

8.1 EXTERNAL VIBRATION

APPLICATIONS OF EXTERNAL VIBRATORS
External vibration is used in many fields, ranging from the vibration of prefabricated concrete units to the
movement of material.
The use of external vibrators will not go into detail below due to the wide variety of applications but simply
comment on the most common applications.
1.- Vibration of moulds
Moulds are used for vibrating beams, prefabricated units of various forms, walls, pipes, etc:
* The mould must be a rigid steel structure and the vibrator has to be firmly attached to the mould. If
possible, the mould should be supported on an elastic base.
The vibrators are distributed over the surface of the mould in such a way as to obtain an
acceleration of 1.5g.
Vibrators are chosen with a centrifugal force to achieve this acceleration.
MONO-PHASE AND THREE-PHASE EXTERNAL VIBRATORS
direction to the motor gland, turn the eccentric to the desired position. The scale shows the
percentage of the total Centrifugal Force that is obtained.
ATTENTION: If the motor works at 50Hz or 60Hz you have to use different scales.
