Input Keys
The key pad has 12 input keys. The values
can be entered using the number keys, the
sign key (1) and the decimal point key (2).
A maximum of 5 numbers before and 3 num-
bers after the decimal point are possible.
The permitted range of numbers in the field is
monitored (e.g. positive integers). If the en-
tered number does not correspond to this,
you will hear a warning signal. The number
cannot be transferred to the field that is being
edited.
4.2.2
Touching the transfer button transfers the
current value on the display to the active field
and then closes the key pad.
4.2.3
The backspace key goes back and deletes
the last number on the display.
4.2.4
The delete key deletes the entire value dis-
5
played on the key pad.

The key pad can be closed by touching the
active field or a button in the title bar or main
menu bar.
The number on the display will disappear if it
has not already been transferred to the edit
field (see chapter 4.2.2).

The user is asked to enter a PIN using the key
pad when logging on with the Log on/Log off
button (see chapter 3.1.5). The numbers en-
tered appear as "*". PIN entry is completed
by pressing the Enter button (3) (see Fig. 6).
If the PIN was entered incorrectly, an error
message appears. The user can try again us-
ing the Log on/Log off button. If another user
is already logged on, a message appears
stating this information, which must be ac-
knowledged with "OK".
The SD301 PIN is set to "0000" on delivery.
The PIN can be changed via the BS300 by
accessing the Administration → Password
