● Press the lift arm (1) downwards and
hold it.
Push the lift arm (1) outwards slightly
(away from the ride-on mower) and hold
it.
Slowly guide the lift arm (1) upwards
until the snow plough is in full contact
with the ground.
Release the lift arm (1).
7.2 Swivel arm release
Danger of crushing!
After the swivel arm release has
been actuated, the coupling triangle
with the snow plough can be
swivelled into three positions with
the aid of the swivel arm.
Never actuate the swivel arm
release while clearing snow.
Unload the snow plough before
each actuation by putting it in the
transport position.
Only actuate the swivel arm release
from the driver's seat.
When the swivel arm release (1) is
actuated, the swivel arm is released and
the coupling triangle with the snow plough
attached can be swivelled.
When the swivel arm release (1) is
released, the coupling triangle engages in
one of the three swivel positions. The
coupling triangle with the attached snow
plough is locked in place.
Releasing the swivel arm release:
● Pull the swivel arm release (1) towards
the swivel arm handle (2) and hold. The
locking mechanism is released and the
coupling triangle with the attached
snow plough can be swivelled by
actuating the swivel arm.

Locking the swivel arm release:
● Release the swivel arm release (1).
When the coupling triangle is in one of
the three lockable positions, the locking
mechanism engages automatically.
The coupling triangle with the snow
plough attached is locked in place and
cannot be swivelled until it is unlocked
again.
7.3 Swivel arm

Risk of accident!
Before actuating the swivel arm,
bring the ride-on mower to a
standstill.
Only actuate the swivel arm from
the driver's seat.
Keep others away from the direct
vicinity when swivelling the snow
plough.
When the swivel arm (1) is actuated
(pulling or pushing), the coupling triangle
with the snow plough attached can be
swivelled.
Ensure that the locking mechanism of the
coupling triangle engages in one of the
three positions.
The coupling triangle with the attached
snow plough engages in the following
three positions:
– Snow plough straight (=90° to driving
direction)
– Snow plough swivelled to left
– Snow plough swivelled to right
Pull the swivel arm backwards:
● Snow plough swivels to left.
Push the swivel arm forwards:
● Snow plough swivels to right.
8. Notes on working with the
machine
Warning!
Risk of injury.
Carefully read and observe the "For
your safety" section before
operating the machine. (
Observe all information regarding
safe operation of the machine.
Use of the ride-on mower is not
9
permitted on public roads.
When clearing snow, the height and
characteristics of the snow (temperature
dependent) must be taken into
consideration.
These two factors have a significant
influence on the clearing performance of
the machine.
8.1 Clearing large areas
Examples:
Wide driveway, car park, courtyard etc.
Helpful tips:
– Bring snow plough into the straight
position (90° to driving direction).
– Depending on the height and
characteristics of the snow in the centre
of the area to plough, clear a path
(track) with the ride-on mower or snow
shovel first.
– Gradually remove an appropriate
amount of snow from the left and right
snow-covered area; adjust the width
based on the height and characteristics
of the snow and traction of the wheels.
Repeat this procedure until the entire
surface is cleared.
